The machine that will be used for this course will be Slinger – Mobile Crane/Tower Crane/PED Crane.

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a CPCS Red Trained Operator card.

We are ideally located for individuals travelling to us with a train station only a few minutes away. We can also arrange transport from the train station to our centre if required.

Course Content:

This 4 day course is for people with limited or no experience of slinging and signalling, who want to gain entry into the lifting industry.

Upon completion of this course the delegates will be able to:

  • Establish the weight and dimensions of loads and communicate this information to the crane operator.
  • Select appropriate lifting tackle and attach and detach it correctly and safely.
  • Use clear and unambiguous signals to direct the actions of a crane moving loads of various weights and dimensions.
  • Determine the serviceability of lifting accessories, and maintain and store them.
