Course Overview:

This PASMA  course will develop your understanding of how to safely assemble, dismantle, relocate and alter a mobile access tower without risk of injury to yourself and others. the lead trade association for the mobile access tower industry. It's scaffolding course that prepares you for the workplace. Representing the interests of manufacturers, suppliers, specifiers and users, it provides and oversees the industry standard training scheme and is a major publisher of safety-related knowledge, information and guidance.

About PASMA

Founded in 1974, the Prefabricated Access Suppliers’ and Manufacturers’ Association, is the recognised focus and authority for mobile access towers. PASMA advances safety, standards and best practice across a wide range of sectors and represents the interests of its members in the UK, South Africa, South East Asia and the Middle East.

Registered and approved training centres deliver the nationally recognised PASMA training syllabus for competency in mobile towers. For more information see their website.

Providing and governing the industry standard training scheme for mobile access towers and delivering proficiency and competence as required by the Work at Height Regulations. For many, the PASMA certificate and ID card are the only acceptable proof of competence.

Towers for Users Course Content:

Upon completion of this course the delegates will be able to:

  • Legal duties.
  • Codes of Practice, guidance and information relating to lightweight access towers.
  • British and European standards.
  • Inspection and maintenance of tower components.
  • Function of components and limitations.
  • Practical assembly and dismantling exercise.
  • Stability and tying-in procedures.
  • Identification of hazards relating to tower scaffolds.

We can accommodate up to 12 delegates on each course.

Venue:

This course can be delivered at NTSS Ltd training centre or at your premises as a dedicated course if required equipment and a suitable classroom is available.  The classroom must be suitable for the number of delegates (up to 12) for the theory session and both an indoor/outdoor practical area with a minimum free height of 6 meters are prerequisites.

Certification:

Delegates successfully completing the course will receive a PASMA certificate and card.
